Shepherd Research seeks highly motivated professionals with a desire to generate quality solutions to technical and business challenges. We believe in building trusting relationships that generate strategic growth opportunities for all. If you would like to be part of such a team, please contact us.

Shepherd Research is accepting applications for two unpaid but valuable summer intern positions in 2010. The ideal candidate would be a rising senior or recent graduate of a four year higher education institution with a life science, public health, or software development background. Those interested in pursuing a career combining science and business are ideal. We are also seeking tech savvy students interested in web-site development, SEO, RSS feed aggregation of news, communications, and development of healthcare solutions. We seek individuals that are self-motivated, detail oriented, and willing to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week (more if available) to gain valuable real-world experience. Although each internship is a telecommute position, the individual must be willing to meet face-to-face at least once a week for several hours in the Research Triangle Park or Raleigh/Cary area of North Carolina.

"My internship with Shepherd Research involved working one-on-one with the CEO of the company on a regular basis, designing an entrepreneurial startup from the ground up. It was a fantastic experience in professional development to work on such a venture independently as a self-starter, yet within a framework of expert guidance. The project afforded me the incredible opportunity to develop my business skill sets (such as market research, stakeholder analysis, and financial forecasting) while learning about an entire industry as it related to the venture. I could not have asked for a better summer opportunity."....2009 Summer Intern, graduate of Duke University
